Three decades of research

Nearly thirty years investigating the nature of intelligence — a body of work that began long before the current AI moment and answers to physics, not market cycles.

Independence

In the open.
Not in a black box.

Serious AGI research happens behind clearances — science-first, skeptical of statistics and pre-trained models, oriented toward intelligence embedded in the environment rather than a centralized black box. The public never sees it, and no one outside can examine it.

The Global Economic Alliance exists to do that caliber of work in public. When recruitment into a classified U.S. defense AGI program was on the table, the answer was no — because science that can't be challenged isn't science.

That history shaped our perspective. But a classified program can't be independently examined — so we present none of it as evidence, and we don't ask you to take it on trust. Every scientific claim GEA makes stands or falls on the research published in the open, where anyone can break it. No appeals to authority — not even our own.

Mounir Shita is a research scientist and theoretical physicist who has spent nearly three decades investigating the nature of intelligence. His work centers on a fundamental claim: that intelligence is a physical phenomenon requiring its own scientific theory before it can be engineered. He formalized this in the Theory of General Intelligence, presented at the International Conference for Advanced Research in Applied Science, Engineering, and Technology, and expanded it in his book Science of Intelligence, which argues for establishing intelligence as a distinct field within physics. He is the founder of Kimera Systems, a former AGI research startup, and currently leads EraNova Global and the Global Economic Alliance.
